Dave Locke
Dave Locke is regarded as one of the premier pitching coaches in the area. In his 15 years of coaching at the high school level, he has helped send 60 pitchers into college baseball and 5 pitchers into professional baseball. Some of his pitchers' accomplishments include: · 1 National Championship in 1995 · 3 State Championships (1995, 2001 & 2007) · 6 State Runner-Up Titles (1992, 1993, 1998, 2000, 2006 & 2008) · 11 District Championships · 8 Region Championships · 2 NABF World Series Championships (1999 & 2000) · 1 Dixie Pre-Majors State Championship (2005) · 3 USA Challenge Championships (2005, 2007 & 2008) In 2008, Coach Locke was awarded the District 14AAA Coach of the Year Award. He has spoken at various coach/player seminars and clinics since 1997, and has given individual and group lessons to players of all ages. Coach Locke earned a 4-year baseball scholarship to Christian Brothers University, where he was named the team’s Most Valuable Player his junior year. He was a 4-year letterman at Treadwell High School where he helped the Eagles win the State Championship his senior year. When not on the mound, he also played 1st base and maintained a .327 batting average. With his Christian approach to the game and his God-given talent, Coach Locke provides the type of quality training that can be used on and off the field. His dedication and knowledge of the sport of baseball are only matched by his enthusiasm and desire to see each player reach both his life goals and his personal athletic potential. He is available for team and individual lessons to pitchers and outfielders of all ages, from the beginner to the professional player.
