Erica Brich Erica Brich is currently the Assistant Softball Coach at Collierville High School and shares her pitching expertise with the Lady Dragons. Brich graduated from Crichton College in 2009 and was the starting pitcher during her Junior and Senior year with a 2.5 earned run average. She played her first two years of college softball at Southwest Community College, where she led the team with four wins, seven complete games, 35 strikeouts, and a .266 opponent’s batting average. Brich was also second on the team with 52 innings pitched and a 3.10 earned run average. She was named to the TJCCAA All-Western Division team as a freshman. Brich set single season school records with 10 wins, a 2.32 earned run average, and 132 strikeouts. She was also one of the Lady Saluqis’ top hitters with a .283 batting average; she led the team with 32 runs scored and ranked second with 43 hits, 22 runs batted in, 52 total bases, 152 at-bats, seven doubles, and seven stolen bases. In high school, Brich played her senior season at Collierville High School under coach Mike Bradley, where she led the Lady Dragons to a 43-7 record and the Class AAA State Tournament. She compiled a 15-4 pitching record with a 0.34 earned run average, and was one of the team’s top hitters with a .350 batting average. Brich was a member of the All-District 15AAA Team and The Commercial Appeal’s Best of the Preps All-Metro Team, and she received Collierville’s “Coaches Award”. Prior to her senior year, Brich played at Fayette Academy in Somerville, Tennessee. She also played for the Tennessee Explosion team that won the 2000 National ASA Championship and the 2001 state championship and regional runner-up. Pitching Lessons are now available!
